Ameristep Introduces Highly Portable Run & Gun Hunting Blinds
Ameristep’s new Run & Gun blinds are light to carry, quick to set up, easy to take down.
The game you’re hunting can sometimes be a little unpredictable. That’s why you have to be prepared to adjust your strategy on a moment’s notice. These new Ameristep ground blinds are designed so that when you need to move, they can move with you.
Sized Right For Hunters On The Move
To make blinds more portable, Ameristep took two of their popular models, The Care Taker and the Doghouse, and down-sized them.
Care Taker Run & Gun
The Care Taker Run & Gun measures 49.5 x 49.5 inches with a height of 65 inches. Each provides 63 inches of shooting width. So, they’re still big enough for two hunters to use them efficiently.
These blinds are easy to tote in the woods. They fold to a compact 6 x 38-inch package and weigh just 12 pounds. This blind uses Ameristep’s Spider Hub frame system for easy setup and takedown.
The Care Taker has an easy-access zippered door and a silent toggle triangular window system. A carry bag, stakes and high-wind tie-down cords are included. The MSRP of the Care Taker Run & Gun Blind is $99.99.
Doghouse Run & Gun
The Doghouse measures 55 x 55 inches when set up with 61 inches of head room. It also accommodates two hunters. It uses Ameristep’s spring steel framework. A series of steel poles snaps the frame into place for quick and easy setup.
It weighs just eight pounds and packs down to a convenient size of 2 x 22 inches. It features a zippered door and a horizontal zippered window system. A carry bag, ground stakes and high-wind tie-down cords are included. The MSRP of the Doghouse Run & Gun is $79.99.
Mossy Oak Breakup Country Camo
Both blinds come with a Mossy Oak Breakup Country Camo pattern. They are constructed of Durashell Plus, a custom-woven fabric with a matte-finish that is lightweight and durable.
That fabric has a Shadowguard black coating on the interior that conceals hunters’ shadows and silhouettes from suspicious animal eyes. It is carbon enhanced to block scents.
Brush-in loops allow you to add natural foliage for blending in to the surrounding area even more.
