Modular Driven Technologies Adds TAC21 Gen2 Precision Rifle Chassis
Modular Driven Technologies has updated the TAC21 rifle chassis to the Gen2. The MDT TAC21 was MDT’s very first chassis system, launched in 2009.
The new TAC21 Gen2 Chassis System has been upgraded with new barricade stop grooves, ambidextrous mag latch, and a 15” full rail M-LOK forend. Additionally, the end cap to which the buttstock is attached can now be removed quickly and easily with a locking adjustable lever.
One of the reasons that the MDT TAC21 Chassis has been so successful over the years is its straight-line design. Looking at the chassis system you can see that it is designed in a way to ensure that from the barrel to the rear of the buttstock is a straight line, helping recoil push directly back giving you superior accuracy and follow-up shots. The TAC21 Gen2 also features an integrated top rail and an enclosed action housing. The chassis is AICS magazine compatible with the ability to use AR buttstocks and grips.
The TAC21 Gen2 can be installed in 30 – 45 minutes without the need for bedding and has proven results with up to 28% accuracy improvements.
Like most MDT Chassis Systems, the TAC21 Gen2 is manufactured from 6061 aluminum, features V-Block bedding, and is finished in your choice of Black or Flat Dark Earth Cerakote.
