New Pulsar Thermal Scopes Help You To Go Hog Wild

Two new Pulsar thermal scopes can help you to hunt those coyotes, feral hogs and other critters that come out strong when the sun goes down. These new rifle scopes, the Thermion XQ38 and XQ 50, can detect game and put you on target at considerable distance.

Pulsar Thermal Scopes Are Game Changers

A few years ago, I was hunting hogs on a ranch in Texas. I was in the right spot and the hogs came out, but only after the sun had faded to the point where I could no longer see the rifle’s sights. Later, on my way off the ranch, I had a couple dozen hogs cross in front of my vehicle so closely that I had to slam on my brakes to keep from hitting them. It was frustrating.

I would have loved to have had one of these Pulsar thermal scopes on that hunt. These XQ scopes use enhanced 384 x 288 thermal sensors to detect heat signatures in total

darkness up to +1500 yards, depending on the model. The images are then converted to a stunning 1024 x 768 AMOLED display, where every object appears crystal-clear.

The XQ38 features 2.5-10x magnification with a 1,500-yard detection range. The XQ50 features 3.5-14x magnification with a 2,000-yard detection range. Additionally, the scopes feature a 2x to 4x digital zoom and provide ten variable electronic reticles and eight distinct color viewing modes.

Connectivity And Recording Capability Too

These Pulsar thermal scopes have five hours of runtime on battery power, but also are adaptable to external power supplies. There’s no shortage of the latest electronic gadgetry.

Thermion XQs also boast Wi-Fi connectivity, built-in recording, picture-in-picture digital zoom and compatibility with the Stream Vision app. These riflescopes have one-shot zeroing with freeze function; rock, forest and identification viewing modes and defective pixel repair fracture.

All that technology comes at a price. The Thermion XQ38 has a suggested retail price of $3,929.99. The Thermion XQ50 has an MSRP of $4,179.99. For more information, go to www.PulsarNV.com.
