Legacy Sports International is now shipping the new ORYX Bolt Action Chassis Rifle Stocks by MDT. This stock first appeared at the 2019 NRA Convention as an option for Howa rifles.
The ORYX aluminum chassis replaces your standard rifle stock and provides a more accurate and ergonomic shooting experience. Installing your barreled action into the ORYX MDT Chassis takes only minutes and Legacy Sports says it improves your accuracy by over 25% – right out of the box.
The ORYX stocks are compatible with three of the Howa action sizes – Short Action, Mini Action, and Long Action. As well as, Remington 700 Short Action, Ruger American Short Action, Savage 110 Short Action, and Tikka Short Action models. This affordable, aircraft-grade, aluminum chassis has a LOP of 13.25” to 15”, and is compatible with AICS mags. The ORYX chassis features a contoured forend grip for a comfortable solid hold, adjustable cheek riser for alignment, an overmold pistol grip designed to fit hands of all sizes and shapes with an MSRP of $399. It is “Drop-in Ready” simply remove your action from your original manufacturer stock, drop it into the ORYX chassis system, and you are in business in less than 10 minutes. There are three color panel options available to go with the black aluminum chassis frame; OD Green, Flat Dark Earth, and Gray.
