Primary Arms GLx Scopes Offer Great Features For Precision Shooters

Two new Primary Arms Glx scopes are now shipping. The Glx 2.5-10×44 FFP ACSS Raptor M2 and the Glx 4-16×50 FFP MIL-DOT rifle scopes provide new reticle configurations to the GLx line that Primary Arms introduced last year.

“These scopes are part of our mid-tier lineup of optics, called GLx,” said Marshall Lerner, CEO of Primary Arms. “GLx brings premium technologies and materials into an approachable price range, providing customers an unbeatable value.”

GLx 2.5-10x44 For All-Around Utility

The GLx 2.5-10×44 features a large 44mm objective lens without being overly heavy. That lens is able to draw more light for exceptional image quality, which aids precision at longer distances. Yet in close quarters, the large eyebox and light body allow for fast target acquisition.

Compared to typical 3×9 rifle scopes, its 2.5-10 magnification range provides greater field of view at the low end for close quarters shooting while offering better performance at the high end for medium to long-range precision.

ACSS Reticle: A Full Range Of Useful Features

This is a first focal plane scope that is paired with the Primary Arms ACSS Raptor M2 reticle. ACSS stands for Advanced Combined Sighting System. At low magnifications, the large illuminated horseshoe draws the eye for incredible engagement speed at close quarters, comparable to a red dot.

At 10x magnification, the full features of the ACSS reticle become available, providing automatic ranging and bullet drop compensation to 800 yards, moving target leads, a precise center chevron aim point and wind holds for both 5 and 10 mph cross winds.

In low light, the illumination presents only the most important elements for rapid engagement.

GLx 4-16x50 For Long Range Precision

The Primary Arms GLx 4-16x50mm FFP rifle scope, with its MIL-DOT reticle provides the power and precision for long-range accuracy. Its enhanced turret features steel adjustment rings for flawless tracking accuracy. Thanks to those steel adjustment rings, each movement of the turret provides a crisp, audible, and tactile 0.1 MIL click that will never wear out.

The GLx 4-16x50mm scope is equipped with the first focal plane MIL-DOT reticle. Its properly matched with MIL/MIL turret adjustments.

The MIL-DOT is in use by military forces in almost every country. It allows shooters to range and find their hold overs without being forced to use caliber specific BDC systems. Each dot is .25 MILs with a full MIL measured from the center of one dot to the next.

The GLx 4-16x50 with MIL-DOT reticle offers good value for precision long-range shooters.

Primary Arms Scopes:Premium Construction

Both of these new Primary Arms GLx scopes include the company’s enhanced locking turrets with return to zero. It ensures that once your zero is set, you won’t have to worry about bumps or the environment making unintended changes to your turrets.

The return to zero feature allows shooters to rapidly return to their elevation to “zero” after dialing out for long-range engagements without having to keep track of the adjustments.

Each GLx scope features an innovative, swappable adjustment fin on the magnification ring. The fin can be positioned easily anywhere around the magnification ring to meet the needs of the shooter.

They have AutoLive reticle illumination, motion-sensing technology that turns on automatically as you position your rifle for a shot. These scopes are made with low dispersion glass for impressive clarity.

Primary Arms Scopes Backed For A Lifetime

These Primary Arms GLx scopes carry a lifetime warranty. The Glx 2.5-10×44 FFP with ACSS Raptor M2 reticle has a suggested retail price of $649.99. The GLx 4-16x50mm FFP rifle scope with MIL-DOT reticle has a suggested price of $699.99.
