SIG Sauer BDX Optics for Crossbows
SIG SAUER Electro-Optics has moved into optics for crossbows with the new compact SIERRA3BDX 2.5-8x32mm riflescope added to the BDX line of riflescopes. This also brings a new partnership with Mission Crossbows to expand the functions of the BDX app.
Now, all SIERRA3BDX series riflescopes have crossbow capabilities, however, the SIERRA3BDX 2.5-8x32mm ultralight riflescope is the perfect size, weight and magnification range for crossbow configurations, making it possible to reach out well beyond 100 yards. With the power of the included BDX technology, it provides your exact holdover dot location on targets when coupled with a BDX-capable KILO rangefinder.
BDX Ballistic Data Xchange
What makes the Sig optics special is the BDX (Ballistic Data Xchange), this system allows you to range the target and the exact hold appears as a yellow dot in your scope. This system takes the guesswork out of ranging and knowing your holdover.
BDX is a fully-integrated rangefinder and riflescope system that uses Applied Ballistics Ultralight and Bluetooth. It pairs with your phone, scope, and rangefinder. When targets are ranged, the Crossbow ballistics are combined with distance to target, slope, temperature, and pressure to precisely calculate the shooting solution. This solution is displayed in the rangefinder and is also shared instantly with any SIERRA3BDX riflescope, instantly illuminating the exact holdover dot on the reticle in the riflescope.
