Tenzing Hunting Packs Include New Hangtime Backpack, Lumbar Pack
The line of Tenzing hunting packs especially designed for hunters has been extended to include the new Hangtime Backpack and Hangtime Lumbar Pack.
Whitetail hunters have long searched for a pack that is at home in a tree stand as it is in the field. Yet they have always come up wanting. It seems that packs are either designed to carry a full load of gear or they are built to provide quick access to essential items. Until now, very few successfully do both.
With nearly two years of research and development, the product engineers at Tenzing have designed a pack system that combines the best solutions for hauling gear with quick access and is suited for both tree stand and field hunting applications.
These Tenzing Packs Hold Their Shapes
The new Hangtime Backpack and Hangtime Lumbar Pack feature a rigid, EVA-molded shell that holds its shape, allowing fast, unfettered access to contents without fear of spilling them far below. They also offer a variety of specialized pockets and external MOLLE attachment points for extra gear.
Tenzing’s Hangtime Backpack
The Hangtime Backpack is specially designed for bow hangers and has dual specialty inserts to house them in transport. Once hung on a hanger, the pack’s rigid shape and the large top opening allow easy, one-handed access to anything inside the generous 750-cubic-inch main compartment. Additionally, a large front zippered panel hinges open to allow access to all the pack’s contents when lying flat on the floor in a ground blind.
Deer hunters are notorious pack rats, so the Hangtime Backpack also features six specialized storage compartments for an array of accessories.
Within those are 15 specially-sized organization pockets for cell phone, game calls, optics, SD cards and more. In all, there is 1,600 cubic inches of overall storage space. On the exterior, you’ll also find two quiver attachment points for right- or left-handed use, a removable, ambidextrous bow carrier, a fold-out bow- and gun-carrying boot and MOLLE attachment points and webbing straps.
Tenzing Hangtime Lumbar Pack
The other new Tenzing hunting pack is the Hangtime Lumbar Pack. It’s great for those hunts when you don’t need to carry quite as much gear. Like the backpack, it too features a rigid EVA-molded shell that holds its shape to remain open in a tree stand or ground blind.
In addition to the large, top-load access main compartment, there are two interior zippered pockets in the lid, three interior game call slip pockets, two zippered hip pockets, two zippered side pockets and a specialty cell phone pocket.
The exterior features MOLLE attachment points and webbing straps for extra gear, sturdy hanging loops on both the base and straps and a removable, ambidextrous bow carrier.
Carrying comfort is enhanced with channeled, air-cooled shoulder straps as well as chest and hip compression straps for a custom fit.
