Turnbull Restoration Offers New Color-Case Hardened Firearms

Turnbull Restoration has added three new color case-hardened models to the Turnbull Finished series of newly manufactured firearms. The Bloomfield, New York company has long been known for restoring antique firearms. But they do offer special runs of newly manufactured guns as well with the special one-of-a-kind touches for which Turnbull is renown.

Turnbull Restoration Embellishes New .22’s

The new firearms to include Turnbull’s signature bone charcoal color case-hardened finish are the Browning BL-22 lever-action rifle; the Browning Buck Mark pistol; and the Ruger Mark IV Target pistol with 10-inch barrel. All three are chambered for the .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridge.

“We’ve been color case-hardening and refinishing factory-new lever-action rifles and Ruger handguns for a few years now,” said CEO and Founder Doug Turnbull. “But when we met with Browning at SHOT Show earlier this year we were intrigued by the products they had to offer.”

Turnbull Browning BL-22 Lever-Action Rifle

Advertised as “the lever-action that the big boys aspire to” by Browning,

Turnbull aims to add even more class to a rifle that’s fun for young shooters and adults alike to take out to the woods.

Turnbull’s Browning BL-22, complete with color case-hardened receiver is priced at $900.

Turnbull Browning Buck Mark Pistol

In addition to the BL-22, Turnbull is bringing into their Turnbull Finished lineup another Browning .22: The Buck Mark pistol.

Similar to their Ruger Mark IV treatment, Turnbull color case-hardens the barreled action on this pistol, making it a one-of-a-kind piece.

Turnbull offers Browning’s rosewood-gripped Buck Mark for $750.

Turnbull Ruger 10-Inch Mark IV

Turnbull’s third newest addition to the Turnbull Finished lineup is Ruger’s new 10-inch Ruger Mark IV.

“When we saw the length of this barrel, we knew we had to add it to the line,” remarked Turnbull. “Think of all the colors you could get on that!”

The company offers this new color case-hardened model for $825. A model with a barrel  threaded to accept a suppressor is priced at $975.

Available Directly From Turnbull Restoration

All three of these new models are available directly from Turnbull Restoration. As with other offerings in the Turnbull Finished lineup, the new models are made-to-order with an 8-10 week delivery time. Limited runs will be added to Turnbull’s ready-to-ship program as availability allows. Subscribers to Turnbull’s weekly newsletter will be notified first.
